The First Tomoh Masaki Award (2011)

Masashi Yanagisawa, M.D. Ph.D.

Masashi Yanagisawa, MD, PhD, received The First Tomoh Masaki Award at the Twelfth International Conference on Endothelin in 2011. Dr. Yanagisawa holds appointments at the University of Texas in Dallas and the University of Tsukuba, Japan, where he was instrumental in the work that led to the discovery of endothelins under the supervision of Dr. Tomoh Masaki. The presentation of the award to Dr. Yanagisawa and the work that led to it have been summarized in a recent article published in the Endothelin XII Proceedings.
